The Ashcroft Adventure Lodge is the welcome center to the Ashcroft Valley. Come in for a Cold Drink, information, art, bike rentals, fly fishing lessons and more. Ashcroft is proud to announce our partnership with the Toklat Gallery as it returns to the Ashcroft Valley. Abundant local art, jewelry, photography and more will grace the space, with local artists featured on Saturdays as they create works and discuss their art. Stop in to browse, learn about the local ecology and history, or start your journey to the Pine Creek Cookhouse from here.











Pedal to Lunch!

In partnership with Aspen Bikes, Ashcroft Adventures will be offering a fleet of rental bikes to make the perfect morning or afternoon spent exploring the Ashcroft Valley. Meander up the 1 mile road to the Pine Creek Cookhouse for lunch, go to the end of the valley for unparalleled views, and take in the babbling creek. Or start from town at the Aspen Bikes Rentals Shop, where you can rent an E-Bike and make your way up the 12 mile Castle Creek road for a hearty lunch. With miles of creeks, beaver ponds, and hidden lakes, the Ashcroft Valley is a trout fisherman’s heaven. Stop in the Ashcroft Adventure Lodge & Gallery to sign up for a guided tour (By reservation only), get information on the best spots, and grab a cold drink! World Class trails!

The Ashcroft Valley is abundant with beautiful hikes for all levels. Hikers can stroll the historic Ghost Town of Ashcroft and explore the rich mining history with the Aspen Historical society. Start at the Ashcroft Adventure Lodge to hike up beautiful River Run trail, or take on the invigorating climbs up American and Cathedral trails to hidden, pristine lakes. Our cross country ski trails are open for free in the summer for hikers to meander through the Aspens on some of the most beautiful hiking in the Aspen area. With trails for all levels, there is great family hiking on your way to lunch!.

Guided fly fishing adventures, a Gold medal experience, with over 5 miles of river, beaver ponds, stocked private ponds.

Morning Glory Fly Fishing Tour

  • Meet between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m.

  • $250 for one person; add guests for $175 per person

Evening Hatch Fly Fishing Tour

  • Meet between 2:00 and 3:00 p.m.
  • A-la-carte dinner at the Pine Creek Cookhouse
  • $250 for one person; add guests for $175 per person

Full-Day Fly Fishing Tour

  • Full day times are flexible based on 8 hours
